Kid Box Sewer

Kid Box Sewer

For the love of everything holy, BIF is digging yet another hole and accompanying trench. Since I kicked out the Kid to return to his box, he is still having to return to the Dwelling to use the bathroom as he does not have a shower, a sink, or a toilet. Worse, is last week the outhouse was removed and now he is funking up my house and leaving toothpaste in the sink.

He would have been using his own toilet but the septic sucker was on back order. Not having the exact measurements on hand, the hole could not be dug until the unit arrived. Having installed a septic sucker before, the Planner had all of the materials ready at the go. It was a just a matter of arrival holding up the process.

With the PVC line connected to the shower and a water turn off valve installed, the septic pump was set in concrete, allowed to rest, and trenches filled.

Waiting for the concrete to set and the lines to be tested, the Kid was placing coats of paint on the vanity door. Needing some color in his all white bathroom, he decided on orange instead of green. He said green was too dark and that the orange offers continuity with the front door. By the way, he originally wanted to paint the bathroom door orange, too. As it turns out, he is glad white for the bathroom door was decided upon. as it would have been too much orange. TOO MUCH.

Everything was set and ready for install. The outhouse toilet cleaned within an inch of its life. Bathroom sink installed and vanity caulked to the wall. Faucet and orange door installed with no pictures. The orange against the brown red floor looks great! Good job, Kid.
